Chicken Satay Recipe

Ingredients
  

1 lb boneless chicken thighs, cut into strips

1/2 cup coconut milk

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1 tsp turmeric

1 tsp coriander

1 tsp cumin

1 stalk lemongrass, finely chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 tbsp vegetable oil

Instructions
 

In a bowl, whisk together all marinade ingredients.

    Add chicken, coat well, and marinate for at least 2 hours.

      Thread chicken onto skewers.

        Grill over medium-high heat, 3-4 minutes per side.

          Serve with peanut sauce and enjoy!

            Notes

            • For the best flavor, marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight.
            • If using wooden skewers, soak them in water for 30 minutes before grilling to prevent burning.
            • Can be grilled, pan-fried, or cooked in an air fryer.
            • Serve with a side of peanut sauce and cucumber salad for an authentic experience.
